Information about fraud

Linkkoin is warning its customers!

Due to the increasing number of internet-based frauds, we would like to stress that Linkkoin continuous goal is to follow the best practices and solutions available for KYC and ALMP checks to eliminate such risks.

For each transaction and user, we verify our customers by (including but not limited to) checking their cards (if not reported as eg. stolen), verification of their documents (including, but not limited to ID, card used for transaction and proof of address, as well as selfies with documents if needed) and checking IP addresses for logins.

What Linkkoin would never ask you for?
  1. We will never ask you for your password to log in on our exchange.
  2. We will never call you in order to make the transaction. It is only you who can make the transaction ONLY on the website, using your own account.
  3. We will never ask you on chat/email for details of the card which we ask to remain covered for the purpose of verification. As well no one from Linkkoin will never ask for confirmation code for the transaction itself (element of two-factor authorization system).
How to avoid being a victim of such a situation?
  1. Never give your personal information, financial status, documents etc. to strangers who are calling you from strange numbers.
  2. Never share your email address and password to it with such individuals.
  3. Never give your credit/debit card details by phone to anyone.
  4. Never borrow your card to anyone.

How you can help yourself with being safe on the Internet?

With hacks and seizures dominating the headlines, we want to assure you that our top priority is and always has been keeping your money safe. We’re here to be a safe port in the storm. But security is partly depending from you and we want to encourage you to better secure your accounts and wallets.

How to do that?
  1. Remember to change your passwords regularly.
  2. Make sure each account you have on the Internet is secured by a different, strong password. Strong passwords are a string of random characters (including digits, signs, small and capital letters).
  3. Check carefully the website address. Linkkoin online cryptocurrency exchange will never use another domain different than https://linkkoin.com. If you find any other website pretending to be us (like using our logo, same or similar name or similar layout), do not try to make a purchase or log in, but report it to us instead.

On our website you can check cryptocurrency exchange rates online. The rates you can see, include all the fees – it means that the price you see is the final one by which you can buy digital currency online.
